Deep in the Stones'
chronicles is their first time in PHILADELPHIA in May 1965, when there was heated debate with fellow British invaders and new chart-toppers Herman's Hermits about who should head the Stars of '65 show at Convention Hall. A poptastic end of the multi-artist bill, also featuring Bobby Vee, Bobby Freeman and girl group Reparata and the Delrons, was given extra soul by the presence of Motown's Brenda Holloway and Brooklyn's future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Little Anthony and the Imperials. Tickets cost $3.75.
The setlist is now available from the show… "Before every show, I draw up the set list on a big canvas, putting down the songs and the keys they're in. It's a big pre-gig ritual for me."
– RONNIE WOOD
The first 750 orders will also receive a custom show plectrum inspired by the host city or venue.
